Electronics Technician - Advanced Research Instruments
Immediate full time opening in a small research instrumentation company located in Coal Creek Canyon for qualified electronics technician. Experience preferred.
Job Description:

Self-motivation and focus on quality workmanship.

Must be able to read and understand schematics and know electronic parts.

Operating VOM’s and oscilloscopes
-
Soldering skills including surface mount devices.

Wiring, harness and cables making.
-
Board level troubleshooting.
-
Customer support. [Polite and helpful on the phone.]
-
Shipping and receiving.
-
Some computer skills such as Windows, Word, Excel etc.
-
Production of misc. electronic devices.
-
Parts ordering and inventory maintenance.
-
Must be capable and comfortable working alone or with one another person.

Problem solving.
-
Working with minimal supervision [After initial training].
-
Some machining skills welcome.
