The instructor, Barbara G. Grant, M. S., Is a University of California-Irvine Distinguished Instructor in the Optical Engineering and Optical Instrument Design Certificate Program. She is a Senior Member of SPIE and has written or co-authored three books. She is President of Grant Drone Solutions, LLC, which provides teaching, consulting, and media content to the emerging UAV industry as well as more traditional aerospace and instrument firms. She has taught short courses to professionals through SPIE, government agencies, commercial firms, and educational institutions since 2009. Registration for classes will be coming soon.
